Sarma is traditional Serbian, Greek, and Turkish dish, very popular in the Balkans, which is mainly made from sauerkraut, ground meat and rice, the mix is than curled in a cabbage leaf and cooked for hours until perfection. Sarma is a common food on Serbian feasts and celebrations. It is also prepared without meat for Lent and fasting.
